Tying Instructions

  1. 1

Slid the bead onto the hook and secure it in the vise. Push the bead to the hook eye

  2. 2

Lay a thread base until almost halfway though the bend of the hook

  3. 3

Tie in your wire ribbing material

  4. 4

Pull your chenille through the bead on top of the hook shank. Secure it just behind the bead.

  5. 5

Lay the chenille along the shank of the hook. Use the gold wire to create the ribbing and to secure the chenille to the hook shank. Tie off the ribbing just behind the bead and secure with a dab of glue

  6. 6

Add a bit of red dubbing to cover where you've secured all your materials and finish with a whip finish.

  7. 7

Trim the chenille to length and just kiss the ends with the flame of a lighter to prevent unraveling.
